The Childhood Protection and Care Association (CPCA), is a non-profit association founded by the First Lady Mrs. Andree Emile Lahoud to help children with special needs. In February 2006, the CPCA created the Childhood Asthma Center (CAC) to improve the quality of life of children (from birth until 16 years of age) suffering from asthma and their families.

The Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Balamanad in coordination with St George University Hospitals had organized a four day Health Fair from the 27th of April till the 30th in the courtyard of the Bechara School facing the St. George University Hospital.

The CAC Research Department has been gathering and analyzing data destined to assess the epidemiological profile of these children and monitor their clinical evolution.

Le Childhood Asthma Center a participé au Health Fair organisé par l’Université Balamand à Achrafieh- Beyrouth et sponsorisé par Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (OMS), le Ministère des Affaires Sociales (MOSA) et le Ministère de l’Education (MOE). L’activité a eu lieu la journée du 25 octobre 2008.

  The CAC is always actively participating in health events organized in Lebanon. From the 28th of April to the 1st of May we participated in the Mother and Baby Care Exhibition held at BIEL.
