Childhood Asthma Center

In 2011, the CAC’s “Asthma at School” program successfully visited 16 public school throughout Lebanon to spread asthma knowledge and awareness.

The CAC aims at eliminating the misconception that asthmatic children cannot and should not play sport and practice physical activities. We organize open sports day and outdoor activities to promote physical exercise, teach asthmatic children warm up and proper inhalation techniques to play with their friends and improve their socialization skills.

Respiratory infections such as colds and the flu are one of the most common causes of asthma flare-ups, especially in young children. There’s no sure way to keep a child from getting a cold or the flu.
Every September since 2006, the CAC organizes a flu vaccination campaign in collaboration with the l’Union des Francais a l’Etranger to vaccinate a limited number of our patients (5-15 years of age) to free them from a major asthma attack trigger.

The Mobile Clinics started operating to insure access to astham medication fot people who were displaced during the 2006 war and other who did not have access to proper diagnosis and treatment.

The CAC offers a comprehensive package to Asthma Prients and their families including: consultation, medication, asthma edcucation, and follow up.
