Sport Day

Under the title "Asthmatic children have the right to live normally and to play sports" the Asthmatic Children Center at the Childhood Protection and Care Association organized a field day in the Presidential Palace to the profit of the asthmatic children treated in the center, in presence of the First lady.
Sixty children aged between 2 and 16 entered the competition which was supervised by coach George Nseir, Doctor Khalil Ghossoub and the center’s director, Mrs. Danielle Farhat.
The children, who were all wearing tee-shirts with the Asthma Center’s logo, competed in different activities, between jogging, basketball, football and ping pong, in the presence of their parents who were barely able to believe their sick children’s abilities.
During the event, the First lady encouraged all the children as well as their parents, offering them medals and prizes so that they would remember they are no different than other children and that they can lead normal, healthy lives.
